Every court. One directory.
From the Louisiana Supreme Court down to every parish clerk of court and city court. When you file a form, this is who you'll deliver it to, call with questions, and pay filing fees to. Contact any clerk before filing to confirm current fees, accepted formats, and hours.
This directory is compiled from official Louisiana court sources (the Louisiana Supreme Court at lasc.org, the Louisiana Clerks of Court Association at laclerksofcourt.org, and each court's official website). Entries marked "pending verification" are awaiting final confirmation before publication. If you spot outdated information, please let us know.

Note on mayor's courts: Many Louisiana municipalities that do not have a city court operate a mayor's court, a municipal tribunal with jurisdiction limited to city ordinance violations and traffic offenses. Mayor's courts are not included in this directory because they are not courts of record under La. R.S. 13:1872. For a list of mayor's courts, see the Law Library of Louisiana's Mayor's Courts guide.
